Glenn L. Briggs

Founding Partner

“Kading Briggs LLP has only one qualitative standard by which we judge ourselves – to deliver A+ results and service to every client on every matter we handle.”

For the past 20 years since leaving the partnership of Paul Hastings, Glenn has managed a robust employment law defense practice, representing many of the nation’s and California’s largest employers. He first led the growth and development of the employment law practice of Hodel Briggs Winter LLP where he was a founding partner after leaving Paul Hastings. Glenn steadily grew his employment law practice group over the years by adding extremely talented and committed lawyers.

On June 1, 2014, Glenn proudly co-founded Kading Briggs LLP, a ten-attorney firm specializing in employment law and devoted exclusively to representing management in employment-related litigation (both single-plaintiff cases and class and other representative actions) and advising and counseling employers on the many complex areas of state and federal employment law.

With the drive and passion to deliver nothing less than exceptional results in every matter he touches, Glenn has built a national reputation over the last 28 years as a go-to employment defense attorney. Glenn has handled more than 300 wage-and-hour class and representative actions, has served as lead counsel on numerous jury trials, and has counseled and defended countless employers in every aspect of employment law, including complex issues of employee compensation, disability and other accommodation processes, lay-offs, investigations into employee misconduct and complaints of harassment and other violations of law, employee and supervisor training, and more.

Before law school, Glenn gained valuable accounting and tax experience at Coopers and Lybrand. He then graduated from Berkeley Law, and started his legal career at Paul Hastings, reaching the partner ranks in eight years. He then co-founded Hodel Briggs Winter LLP, where he led the employment law department’s growth from 2 to 10 attorneys.
